What began as a three-day camp to gauge the level of interest in establishing a fencing club quickly became something far greater, attracting 76 registered participants and transforming Anne-Marie Walters’ vision into a living institution—the Legacy & Hope Fencing Club. From the moment the first social media flyer was released, the response made one thing clear: the journey could not end with a camp. The Foundation’s leadership recognized an opportunity to give young people something powerful—the belief that hope can inspire dreams, and dreams can become reality, while opening a pathway for a new generation of national heroes. With that commitment, the Club was formally established, its identity brought to life through a dedicated logo, and its motto emerged: “Where Skill Meets Character—Forging Discipline, Inspiring Excellence, Building Legacy.” The initiative also introduced fencing certification, creating the foundation for structured development, recognition, and a lasting pathway for young athletes to grow within the sport.
